Welcome to 2010.

2009 was a great year!

Now it's time to make 2010 an even better year.

I'm actually quitting school...well after I graduate with an associates in art!

I am not going to a university. I'm sick of school.

I actually don't want to be in advertising anymore! I'm not the kiss-ass type.

So I rather not waste my time!

I would still love to be a vet though! Too much school & Im not a kitty killer.

My dream is to own a shoe store & make it my own brand & move to NYC or Cali.

Apes told me my blog was awesome.

Yeah right? I should write in it more often.

I think I want to be a writer for a newspaper or magazine!

I'll keep practicing!

Relax In Power El Nino Azteca

Francisco Rodriguez, el Nino Azteca, was my co-worker.
I would only see him for 5 minutes everyday,

but I could tell he was a warm, respectful young man.

I would say hi & then, I started talking to him about Jordans

because he always had nice Jordans on his feet!

He was a kind person with a lot of ambition.

He was in college, a father, a boxer, & a hard worker.

I'm very upset & struck about this situation.

I'm kind of relieved by the fact that his organ donation will help other people.

But, still......

The last time I spoke to him

I told him about the Space Jams coming out

He said "11s?"

He knew his Jordans.

I said, "Yeah they are coming out in infant size,

so you should get some for your baby girl"

I am going to buy them for her.

Before the mist of the media, I did not believe it.

I was upset & unaccepting of this but,

Paco would probably say that he's very happy in heaven.

Because, I envision heaven like a party, a place,

you never want to leave!

I really love the movie Blood In, Blood Out

& in that movie, it's about honor in the Mexican culture

Corrupt CTA

The CTA is Chicago's little "L" system...

Many people says it sucks compared to other cities.

I think they are total crybabies!

It's pretty messed up when you can buy flat screens that are absolutely useless!

Their purpose is to tell me the time (uh, I can look at my phone and ur old little dot dot boards)
I think they might have cameras in them too, cuz I was looking to see what brand they were and instead it was a little hole. Hmmm?

Then, they want to tax us $3!?
Think about all the H.S. kids who use the CTA everyday...everyday! New freshman meat is always coming in every year. Isn't that a lot of money?

They tried to brown nose the old people, by giving them free rides. Now they are trying to take that back! Indian Givers!

They let all their employees ride for free...

Mayor Daley has a "hiring program" and that's the only way to get a job with the CTA.

From North to the South to the East to the West people who really don't have cars and people who can't afford gas & parking meters pay the FARE!

I remember paying $1.50...now I gotta pay $2 one way! $2.50 for a transfer?

The CTA never let u in on this secret but I will... you can actually use the transfer 3 times!

My Grandpa Charlie aka Hook passed away of cancer last May 21st 2008. It was kind of painful, yet I know my grandpa can't live forever! Even if he could live forever, he'd be like no way! Take me to heaven! I'm really glad that I had a lot of good memories of him and he lived a wild life. For one, my grandpa was in prison for 8 years. I used to be a little little girl going to visit him in prison. But, he stuck through it. People respected him. And he came out a bigger G than he came in. I think people need to pay homage to their grandparents. If it weren't for him leaving Texas and coming to the Chi, I wouldn't exist! My grandpa was my daddy's buddy. My grandpa loved to go to the race track. He used to tell me, Brenda, go tell your daddy to take you the races so we can win. My daddy, Joe, called him MUSH anyways! Hey, he couldn't see, or hear! HUH? That's what he'd say. Papa Charlie reminds me of grandpa from the Simpsons. My grandpa was a wild guy! As an elderly, he would go out, drive down Ogden in his old school Caprice, even though he couldn't even see! He said he'd follow someone's headlights. He would come home at 4 AM! Later his Caprice had no butt (trunk). Imagine that! Grandpa's memory is forever spookin yuppies down Taylor ST! RIP Grandpa hope ur in heaven gambling and winning always! Pictures coming soon
